About Bob

msn

Bob graduated from USC School of Business in 1984 with a degree in business/finance. He spent 2 decades on Wall Street as a senior VP of trading. His primary responsibility was to negotiate large trades (200mm+) for institutions and to identify undervalued and overvalued assets. He eventually ran his own hedge fund and invested in stocks, bonds and large real estate holdings. Bob retired to leave the high stress level of the business and had a AAA track record to his last day in the business. Needing a new challenge and a more people oriented position, he took his experience as a real estate investor and a strong negotiator to help people buy and sell both investment and residential property. He is laser focused and detail oriented. Most important, he listens to the needs of his clients and communicates well to take the guesswork out of buying and selling. From first time homebuyers to seasoned investors, Bob’s goal is to leave his clients with the best experience possible.

Raised in the Pacific Palisades, Bob moved to Manhattan Beach after graduating from USC in 1984 with a business and finance degree.  He raised his 3 boys in the tree section and exposed them to the things he loves.  Surfing, snowboarding, guitar, golf, fishing, river rafting, mountain biking to name a few.  He coached all 3 sons in Manhattan Beach little league as well as basketball and other activities.  With 2 sons in college and 1 at Mira Costa High, Bob has found more time for community service. As a homeowner in El Porto, he is presently a liaison between the residents of El Porto and the city regarding issues such as utility under-grounding, the proposed skatepark, the proposed desalination plant and other issues that affect the neighborhood.  Bob first started surfing El Porto in 1978 and has been a fixture there ever since.  If you surf El Porto or just walk on the Strand at sunset, you likely know Bob’s friendly smile and easy going demeanor.

How Can I Help Sell Your Home

The most important factor in selling a home is the right pricing strategy. Marketing and the way a home shows are a close second. With my background in markets and asset valuation, I am best able to zero in on the critical factor of pricing a home to attract the highest number of buyers. We have a second to none marketing program at RE/MAX Estate Properties, which is why we are #1 in terms of market share in the South Bay. I also work with a strong team of design consultants to best show your home. Finally, as a professional negotiator, I am able to find the buyer willing to pay the most with the highest likelihood of closing.

Why Use Me As A Buyer's Agent?

When hiring a buyer’s agent, remember that you pay no commission. The buyer’s agent collects the commission from the listing agent. While some inexperienced buyers maybe tempted to go direct to the listing agent hoping for a deal, the reality is that no one can strongly negotiate for both sides. What’s more, the agent will rarely shed more than a single percent when double ending a transaction. What one may possibly gain from a 1⁄2% reduction in commission, may give up 5- 10% in negotiating power.

Let my unsurpassed negotiating experience get you the best deal possible!

I Am Here To Help You!
